Tamarillo Salsa

When we were little, my dad used to buy these red tart fruits called tamarillos that we loved.   I was walking through the grocery store one day and I saw this frozen tamarillo pulp, so I HAD to buy it.  Anyhow, that’s the basis for this spin on salsa.


1 package frozen tamarillo pulp, thawed (see picture below)
1 large tomato, chopped fine
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/2 cup coriander, chopped fine
1 tbsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tbsp pepper
1 bell pepper (I used yellow to make it colorful, but you can use anything)


1.  Mix everything together in a large bowl.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.
