Basic Salad Dressing

A lot of recipes have substitutable ingredients, but for this one the mustard, vinegar, and olive oil really matter.  I suggest honey dijon mustard, a balsamic vinegar, and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.


1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey dijon mustard
1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil


1.  Pour everything into a glass bottle.  Cover with lid and shake vigorously.

2.  Drizzle over salad.  I make extra and keep it in the fridge for a couple days.
